The ideal candidate will possess a blend of traditional medical administrative skills and modern digital competencies with a passion for helping people navigate healthcare journeys whilst secretly loving a Google sheet! Job Summary: The digital medical secretary will provide support to the office of the founder helping track down pain points, road blocks and cuud-de-sacs in the businesses operations where people searching for healthcare support get stuck. This role involves managing patient journeys, scheduling appointments, creating and handling communications, developing new processes / workarounds, representing the needs of the people we support and streamlining existing procedures. The candidate should be adept at digital communications, undertaking data analysis, creating lean processes and thrive in the non-traditional work of technology companies where the pace is fast and data and engineering sit alongside clinical teams. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support and Unlock:
  • Assist members in their digital journeys to reach goals efficiently and without issue.
  • Monitor and create dashboards for the monitoring of member journeys.
  • Work with technology teams to develop responses to short and long term member challenges.

  • Assist with member billing and service
  • Enhance the user experience in order to secure positive outcomes for members
2. Digital Skills:
  • Utilise digital scheduling tools and online booking systems.
  • Communicate with members and healthcare providers using CRMs and other platforms
  • Manage digital files and documentation.
  • Analyse data in order to form insights that inform decision making
3. Support:
  • Work with the founder to identify opportunities
  • Track the progress of members and intervene digitally and manually at times in order to assist
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a medical secretary or similar role would be advantageous
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google equivalents
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new digital tools and technologies quickly.
