Johnsons Accountants is a growing business which currently has 3 offices based in London and Buckinghamshire.
Overview:
We are seeking a trainee who is an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a trainee Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the managing director and be part of the company administration team which will include covering reception and supporting other team members. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills be computer literate, and possess strong English language skills ideally possessing an A level or degree qualification in the subject.
In house training will be given in this role initially and after successful completion of a 3 month probation period you would be enrolled onto the Institute of Executive Assistants and Administrators course to start Level 2 which will give you the core Administrative and Office skills needed to work as a Secretary, Team Secretary or Receptionist. After successful completion of Level 2 you will progress onto Level 3 which will give you the core skills to become a successful PA. All courses will be online and course fees, registration and 1st attempt exam fees will be paid. One days study leave will be provided before the exam and the day of the exam will be paid leave as part of the study package.
Duties:
- Manage the Director's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Conduct research and compile information as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- English Language A level minimum requirement
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Due to the location of the office own transport and full UK Driving Licence required
Part time of 30hrs would be considered for the right individual.
This is a trainee position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16,800.00-£24,500.00 per year
