I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving c20,000 customers and approximately 200,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Performance & Insight Senior Analyst to join our Corporate & Strategic Performance & Insight team. For this role, you will establish guidelines and monitor performance to ensure we are effective and efficient in how we as a team achieve our targets and help to investigate areas of improvement and deliver initiatives to ensure optimal and sustainable performance of the team. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) 1 day per week.

Key responsibilities
- Analyse and report on performance of the segment, teams, and initiatives. Identifying trends, providing insight on their underlying causes.
- Preparation of annual business plans, business cases, forecasts and targets to form a firm basis for steering business decisions, being a key interface with Controlling, Sales and Service teams.
- Deliver commercial and operational Continuous Improvement initiatives prioritised by business need and impact based on analysis of segment performance and working closely with stakeholders.
- Understand and interpret internal/external policy/regulation changes and provide recommendations to ensure adherence.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks and ensure existing frameworks remain fit for purpose, providing a balance of commercial freedom to operate with prudent risk control.
- Monitor performance at segment, channel and individual level against governance frameworks. Develop initiatives (to include training and process improvements) where compliance levels do not meet targets.
- Ensure resource planning is in place and meets the segments and channels needs for capacity and skill levels, with appropriate training initiatives in place to support this.
- Management of data quality standards and integrity by working across all teams in the segment and beyond to ensure data accuracy is maintained.
What we need from you- Demonstratable experience within the UK Energy Industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with extensive experience in Visual for Basic Applications (VBA).
- Experience with PowerBI (or other data visualisation tools e.g. QlikView).
- Familiarity with other Microsoft products such as O365 Power tools, SharePoint, Teams.
- Experience with SQL bringing multiple data sources together, in addition to SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
