Main Duties: Permit office duties are required to be carried out on a rota which covers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Monitor Joint email which is used for contractors to email regarding any queries about submitting permits on the CMO system. Getting authorisation from correct Client managers if contractors require a permit to be extended or dates changed. Activating permits when contractors turn up on site and deactivating when they have finished work for the day. Closing expired permits each day. Keeping up to date with changes in HAL management so they give correct information to contractors regarding permit approvals/amendments. Creating accounts for contractors who are new to the system, sending them a user guide and giving any advice to make sure contractors are comfortable using the CMO Permit system. Give access to contractors and staff within the Terminals and some landside areas. Making sure the correct permits are in place and approved first and correct competencies depending on the area required access too. Run any Audits requested from HAL to see who accesses certain areas. Keep and issue keys for various locations around the Airport. Complete Work Order Audits on Contractors. Support the general store functions located at both Permit Offices. Act as out of hours help desk for the contract passing on works to call out team and escalating if necessary to the management team along with updating MAXIMO logs and comping work if required
