We are excited to be able to offer up to six places on our Support Worker Apprenticeship Training Programme starting in September this year. This is an “earn while you learn” opportunity as we offer a permanent contract on a starting salary of £19,299 per annum with a full day per week devoted to you achieving your Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Worker qualification. The qualification is fully funded by Evolve and will be mostly based in Croydon.

This programme will provide you with all the training and support you need to have a rewarding career in the homelessness sector. You will:

• Receive an initial 2 weeks of basic training covering core training modules before commencing a placement at one of our hostels in London
• Be enrolled on Level 3 Community Health & Wellbeing Apprenticeship and receive an off-site tutor to support you to achieve the qualification.
• Be provided with a variety of group and individual learning activities.
• Receive salary increases based on your performance during the 18-month apprenticeship with the first increase to £25,643 per annum and a further increase to £27,710 once you demonstrate you are at Support Worker level

You will need to be able to work shifts on a pre-planned rolling rota - 5 /7 days a week including mornings (from 7am), evenings (to 10pm) - these also include mid shifts and weekends.
