Job Description
The Company Bookkeeper is to assist with all administrative tasks necessary for the day-to-day operation of the company.You are directly responsible to the Company Administrator as your line manager.The majority of the role is bookkeeping - recording and filing invoices and bills. There will always be some administrative tasks such as filing documents and organising.
Responsibilities
- Complete admin tasks such as printing documents.
- Input staff timesheets and and hours
- Inputting invoices into the finance system and ensuring their approval for payment
- Preparing payment runs
- Filing invoices
- Reviewing and inputting staff and credit card expenses into the finance system.
- Keep company documents correctly filed digitally such as invoices and drawings
- Assistance in booking of training when required
- Assistance in monitoring of existing training, ensuring all expiries are logged and refresher training booked prior to expiry
- Keep track of insurances, subscriptions and certificates (such as mots) are filed, tracked and reminded and booked in good time
Skills
- Bookkeeping/Accounting Qualification, essential AAT 2.
- Experience of working with Xero
- Advantageous to have experience with iTrade
- Excellent numeracy and bookkeeping skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to close out tasks
- Good organisational skills with experience of working in a small team demonstrating
- Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to wider team activities
- Well-presented and professional approach
- Knowledge of basic HR procedures
- Computer literate in Mac or Microsoft office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
