Job Responsibility:

Assisting in the provision of a high quality, efficient and cost-effective procurementfunction that meets the requirements of the SWL Procurement Partnership NHSServices overall strategic direction and corporate objectives and complies with SFIsand relevant procurement legislation and guidance.To utilise internal and external data sources that support the identification, deliveryand monitoring of Service and collaborative procurement projects, risk managementstrategies and departmental performance.Assist in defining, creating and maintaining management information data streamsthat track, monitor and identify tendering opportunities and contract improvements.Assist in providing market driven data advice and guidance which defines thecommercial and financial viability of differing sourcing options for specific projects.Analyse regional / local data including data on expenditure, demand, specificationand supplier information and feedback analysis to stakeholders and project teams.Work with the procurement team to create information and analysis reports that willtrack the benefits of existing contracts. Assist the procurement team to identify future trends and contract developmentopportunities for all category groups.Provide management information and data reports to ensure compliance with NHSImprovements requirements.Increase, manage and maintain e-Catalogues for goods and services to optimiseautomation in the procurement process.Develop and manage internal communication activities that involve, engage andinform staff of procurement initiatives, improvements and benefits.Shared responsibility to develop and manage the departments intranet and internetsites ensuring that content is useful up-to-date, accurate and consistent with Servicepolicies and EU law.Shared responsibility to design and deliver procurement training to Service membersinvolved in varying stages of the procurement process.Shared responsibility to monitor eProcurement user activity ensuring targetedsolutions are provided to avoid downstream queries.
