Job Responsibility:

Could you be our new Retail & Channel Insight Analyst? Do you have a passion for retail? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Consumer and Channel Insight team within our Branded Product and Insight Department. The Consumer and Channel insight team focus on exploring the celebrations consumers behaviours; their relationships, occasions they celebrate and shopping habits. This represents our ongoing commitment to put the customer at the heart of everything we do. This is an exciting position suited to someone who has an interest in customer and social behaviour, who can tell a story from data and ensure generated insight is actionable for key stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Analyzing and interpreting data into actionable insight to support both wider business objectives and interpret findings for our key accounts.
  • Communicating insights to key stakeholders in the business, developing relationships with and delivering presentations to both internal and external customers.
  • Mining of both quantitative data and secondary research to support the Product Insight Manager to compile and present seasonal reporting, product deep dives and consumer immersions, whilst exploring wider macro trends that will impact the Category.
  • Collaborating with a range of departments from Product Management and Creative, to Strategic Account Management. Liaising with international teams, representing the Consumer and Channel Insight department.
  • Building expertise in the wider retail and economic landscape, through knowledge exchange from a range of retail intelligence sources and subscriptions.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal, presentation and organisational skills are also essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative. We are looking for someone who has relevant experience in a similar research or customer facing role, strong Excel experience with analysing data sets from different sources and able to use PowerPoint at an advanced level. This role operates in a hybrid working pattern of office-based days and working from home with a minimum of 2 days in the office. Head Office is based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
