This role is to provide administrative support within the Preventative Mental Health Team. The ideal candidate will be competent in working with colleagues in a co-operative way with the ability to promote team working. You will be required to deal with telephone enquiries from professionals and members of the public. It is essential that you have an ability to communicate effectively and have experience of multi-disciplinary working.
The ideal candidate will be competent in developing and operating office administration systems; have recent experience in office administration; good administrative skills and proven experience of developing, maintaining and inputting information on electronic based systems in order to provide timely management information.
You will be able to demonstrate sound analytical skills and effective decision making within appropriate timescales, be proactive and use initiate to ensure accurate information; demonstrate a person-centered approach and have the ability to deal in a tactful and sensitive manner with people.
You must have NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent, be competent in the use of Word and Excel and have the proven ability to learn new systems. You will have effective organisational skills and a flexible approach to meeting workload pressures and deadlines.
You will receive regular supervision, be well supported and have opportunities in respect of career development.
