Meadow House Hospice is excited to announce the expansion of our palliative care service ,consequently we are looking for a dedicated and experienced administrator to join us. The post is primarily responsible for managing the use of patient clinical systems within the hospice e.g. Cerner and S1, which include maintenance, troubleshooting and training of new staff. The post holder will also be responsible for producing an array of activity and performance reports , so the ability to understand service KPIs and what data parameters to use will be essential. We are looking for someone who is has previous administrative experience, especially in a health setting, and has extensive knowledge and confidence in using patient based clinical systems. Be the primary link for all maintenance and troubleshooting issues relating to Hospice clinical system e.g. (iCare/S1/Cerner) 2. Support and train existing and new staff in using/accessing hospice clinical systems. 3. Provide administrative support to Consultants, Associate Specialist and Community Nursing teams 4. Ensure all new starters are given appropriate training and access to Trust systems and network. 5. To produce data reports (Monthly/Quarterly/Annually) that identify service activity and performance. 6. To produce reports that identify data quality issues. 7. Act as the key link with Trust information and Business Intelligence Unit. 8. Act as the key link with the Trust Clinical Coding Team. 9. Act as the key liaison with Trust ICT team. 10. Arrange and manage weekly MDT meetings. 11. Producing, editing and formatting reports, presentations and papers as requested. 12. Maintain and update local induction programmes for new staff members together with information pack. 13. Provide reception cover on a rota basis. 14. Manage parking permit application process and Health Emergency Badges for both Ealing & Hounslow teams. 15. Support management and administration of parking permits/badges for all community teams. 16. Deputise for Team Leader as and when required.
