Training Instructor

Salary £33,000

Based in Stockport / Hybrid Working

About the role

As Training Instructor you’ll have a passion for building a great learner experience. You will work closely with the Learning and Development Manager to:

• Deliver our ‘Restraint Reduction Training’ accredited by Maybo.

• Facilitate induction and refresher training to ensure our staff teams have the skills and knowledge to deliver the highest standards of care.

• Deliver key Health and Social Care training themes to ensure best practice and that continuous professional development opportunities are available to our colleagues.

• Maintain training records and monitoring training compliance via our Learner Management System.

• Conducting observations of competence, guiding managers and delivering responsive training and learning opportunities.

About you

We are looking for a personable individual who is creative and passionate about training others to deliver the highest standards of care and support.

You may not have been a trainer before but may be seeking a development opportunity to share your outstanding sector knowledge. Or you might be a Trainer without sector knowledge but seeking an opportunity to move into the Adult Social Care sector, if so, we would love to hear from you.

You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships. You will also possess good IT and organisational skills. A driving licence would be an advantage.
