Job Responsibility:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the People & Facilities Management team, primarily supporting the organisation's reception function. As a receptionist the post holder will be responsible for running a busy reception dealing with staff, visitors and contractors, the switchboard and deliveries from suppliers. The role holder will provide good customer service and ensure a pleasant welcome to visitors. They will issue ID badges, maintain stationery stock, manage meeting room bookings, deal with incoming and outgoing mail, ensure that the reception area is kept tidy and well-presented and to keep the notice boards up to date. The role holder will manage the car park barrier and car park space requests. The role will also include an administrative function, contributing towards the facilities and compliance programme of work, booking meetings and taking minutes as and when required. The role holder will also implement and maintain effective office systems making maximum use of technology, raise service desk tickets on the finance system and receipt invoices for goods and services where necessary. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
