Job Introduction

We are recruiting an Education Access Officer to join our Access to Education team on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

We process school admissions applications in line with the school admissions framework and work in partnership with different stakeholders and colleagues.

We provide advice and guidance to families on school admissions enquiries.

You will be joining a friendly team that work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to deliver an excellent school admissions service.

Applicants to this post will be required to complete the appropriate level of Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Role Responsibilities

You will process applications for school places in line with the school admissions code and local policies to ensure MKCC meets the statutory duty.

You will independently prioritise a large number of varied tasks and work under pressure to deliver outcomes to meet a range of tight deadlines.

You will confidently communicate complex processes to a wide range of stakeholders

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual who shares our passion for enhancing the lives of children in Milton Keynes.

Should you be offered the role, as part of the pre-employment checks a Basic DBS will be actioned for you and BPSS referencing
