We are a vibrant street food market located in East London. Our market is known for its diverse range of stalls offering fresh produce, delicious street food, and unique vintage finds. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Operations Manager to join our team and support the smooth running and expansion of our market.

Job Overview:

The Street Market Operations Manager will assist the director in various operational tasks, including recruiting new traders, handling administrative duties, and sourcing new market sites. The role requires flexibility, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. While the position is primarily remote, occasional visits to the market will be necessary to oversee operations and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Duties:

• Assist the Director in onboarding new traders to maintain a diverse and vibrant market
• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks
• Help in sourcing potential new sites for market expansion
• Undertake various tasks as set by the Director, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Occasionally visit the market to oversee operations
• Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to promote products or services
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth

Experience:- Previous experience in market operations, event management, or a related field (Preferred)

– Strong organisational and multitasking skills

– Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal supervision

– Flexibility to occasionally visit the market site as required

– Proficiency in using office software and tools for administrative tasks
