HOW WILL YOU FIT INTO THE TINC WORLD?

As an Area Brand Guardian, you will be working as a field-based member of the Tinc team, reporting directly to the Lead Brand Guardian.

You will be responsible implementing and maintaining the commercial visual strategy, to increase the profile of the brand and maximise sales. You will be working across selected UK locations, to support our wholesale partners, training and working alongside their teams to ensure retail excellence.

YOUR TRIBAL RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Owning the implementation & execution of VM guidelines, to an excellent standard in your assigned stores/geographical area.
  • Conducting store visits within your assigned stores/geographical locations.
  • Being the main point of contact for your assigned stores/geographical area. Helping partner teams in answering queries and helping to resolve issues relating to product, VM & stock management.
  • Hands on merchandising of product in partnership with store teams to create and maintain eye catching visual displays for our customers.
  • Acting as a brand guardian of the ‘Tinc World', keeping in mind the brands culture, products, image and target market at all times.
  • Giving constructive but mindful feedback to partner teams, escalating issues to the Lead Brand Guardian.
  • Providing product feedback to the design, buying and merchandising teams.
  • Communicating with your assigned areas store teams/manager on a regular basis to support and provide feedback via visits and photo reports. 
  • Delivering regular training to partner teams to ensure retail excellence is upheld. 
  • Identifying areas of opportunity in the layout and product mix your assigned stores location to maximise sales.

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED TO JOIN THE TRIBE?

  • Proven experience in VM, ideally multi-site and/or with multiple stakeholders. A background in stationery/gifts is a bonus. 
  • Excellent and consistent attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • A ‘can do' proactive attitude. 
  • An understanding of retail operations, store layout and the customer journey. 
  • Creative mindset, with an interest in stationery and knowledge of current trends.
  • Ability to unpack and place product with some lifting required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Programmes would be a bonus.
  • Ability to analyse reports and feedback on results.
  • Willingness to travel on a daily basis within the UK, access to a car would be a bonus.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside of office hours/stay overnight as business needs require.
