How you'll help us make health happen:
The Head of Enterprise Risk is a senior leadership role within Bupa's UK (‘BGUK') Market Unit - both UK Insurance & ‘Bupa Global' (international private medical insurance). Reporting to the Director of ERM, you will support leadership & direction of the Insurance Enterprise Risk Management Team.
Key duties:
Co-ordination of risk & compliance information for Market Unit (‘BGUK')
Provide risk management advice across business areas
Develop & promote the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Enhance 2LOD framework to support strategic risk management
Monitor and report all material risks
Regular review of policies, procedures and governance
Liaise with key stakeholders: Chief Risk Officer, Group Risk, General Managers
Support training for risk teams
Key Skills/Qualifications needed for this role:
Senior risk professional with significant experience in Financial Services
Experience of risk capital quantification, setting risk appetite, designing risk frameworks
Functional knowledge of risk, control and regulation across 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defence
Strategic mindset and commercially astute
Excellent communication skills; gravitas to engage with Executive management
