What’s in it for you?

You’ll be based out of our roastery in Liverpool. Work from home flexibility is supported but the office will be your base. The hours of work are 9am – 5.30pm and the salary is £26,000 per annum looking to start 01/10.

As part of the Neighbourhood team, we really mean it when we say that you have the opportunity to own your role and make it, you and us a success – we haven’t got time for micro-management, which is why we need a special sort of person. But you’ll also be becoming part of something special! We work hard, but we genuinely care about the people we work with, about our customers, about our suppliers, and about getting things right.

We want to become one of the UK’s best-known and best-loved coffee brands, and you can be an important part of that journey. On a more practical note, though, we do look after our team as well.

· 23 days holiday, increasing annually up to 27 days, in addition to bank holidays (our office is closed between Christmas and New Year).

· Statutory pension contribution through Nest.

· Flexible working to meet the needs of the role.

· All the free coffee you can drink!

Our mission is to welcome everyone and create and inclusive team of awesome people. We celebrate difference and encourage everyone to join us, and be themselves at work. The more inclusive we are, the stronger our team will be – that is the principle that underpins our recruitment process. If there is anything we can do to help make the application process easier for you, please let us know.

What to do now

Okay! You’ve made it this far, and you’re still in. That’s a good sign! Now we want to hear from you – if your gut is telling you that this job is the one for you, reach out and tell us why.

· Send us your CV and any supporting documents that you think will help us understand how awesome you are.

· Tell us why you want to work with us at Neighbourhood.

Remember that we don’t have a massive HR department waiting to scrutinise what you send. Chris, Ed and Mark will look over your CV and want to see the real you, not whatever ChatGPT can churn out. We want recruitment to be fun and positive for us as well as you, so feel free to be creative!
