Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for an Administration and Copywriting Officer to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester.You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a competitive salary.

Human Appeal is a faith-based charity that aims to abolish poverty by providing humanitarian aid, sustainable development programs and championing advocacy for our beneficiaries worldwide.

As an Administration and Copywriting Officer , the successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the wider Communications department in delivering Human Appeals Strategy through administrative support and additionally via copywriting, by conducting research, planning, writing and editing content for Human Appeals advertising platforms, and creating content bi-weekly for donors all in order to produce creative content that is both appealing and engaging to our broad audience.

We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of theAdministration and Copywriting Officer :

  • Ensure increased donations year on year by;
  • Achieving organic income targets for the department
  • Complete emails target
  • Increase and initiate donor interaction
  • Assisting in the publishing of the annual booklet which highlights the good deeds done by Human Appeal

What were looking for in our Administration and Copywriting Officer :

  • Ideally degree-educated in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administration/communications
  • Experience of using MS Office Suite
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic, Urdu are desirable
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector

  • Safeguarding bright futures for more than 22,000 vulnerable orphans in 9 countries. Our one-to-one sponsorship programme has a built-in school attendance requirement while covering the cost of food, housing, medical care, and learning materials
