Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Strategic Growth Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is excited about supporting our Chief Strategic Growth Officer in identifying, evaluating, and acquiring hotel properties that align with our bold growth strategy. If you're passionate about market research, financial analysis, and have a knack for making compelling presentations, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Financial Analysis: Collaborate with the Global Development Team to prepare financial models, investment analyses, and feasibility studies for potential acquisitions.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify target markets, assess trends, and evaluate competition.
  • Property Assessment: Participate in property tours, evaluate property conditions, and assess financial performance to determine suitability for acquisition.
  • Excel Proficiency: Utilize your Excel skills to understand and modify underwriting templates as needed.
  • Project Management: Lead the due diligence process, coordinating inspections, appraisals, and environmental assessments.
  • Data Handling: Efficiently work in data rooms to extract necessary information for underwriting and due diligence.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, HR, and operations teams to ensure seamless transition and integration of acquired properties.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to the executive team on potential acquisitions.
  • Presentation Skills: Develop compelling presentations that address client questions and highlight Valor's strengths, growing into presenting these with confidence over time.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: A-levels minimum; further education and qualifications are desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to conduct thorough market research and financial analysis.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, particularly in due diligence processes.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to prepare and eventually deliver presentations.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal teams and build meaningful relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with the initiative to get things done and the ability to make logical decisions.
