About The Service

Cardiff Council is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to line manage the Complaints and Communication Team, Quality and Appeals section within Housing Communities.

About the job

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small team ensuring high quality responses to all complaints and enquiries from Councillors, Members of the Senedd and Members of Parliament ensuring these are dealt with in a timely manner.

You should have a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment and work collaboratively with colleagues.

What We Are Looking For From You

Full training will be provided and will give successful applicants a wide range of useful skills and experience. You will gain experience of dealing with customer enquiries by telephone and in writing. You will also be trained to use various IT systems.

There are no formal qualifications required however experience of working in a complaint's environment is essential, additionally experience of dealing with Complaints and Enquires for all housing matters.

The successful applicants will have good communication skills and the ability to adapt and learn quickly. A positive and customer focused attitude is essential as is the ability to work to targets and deadlines.
