Job Description JOB TITLE: Investment Strategic Relationship Manager SALARY: £86,964+ DOE LOCATION(S): Remote HOURS: Full-time About this opportunity: Scottish Widows' individual advisory proposition will evolve rapidly throughout the next 18 - 24 months and scaling asset gathering in these solutions is key to the success of achieving our business growth ambitions. Reporting to the Head of Intermediary Sales, you'll be responsible for leading and growing key relationships nationwide and supporting BDM's to drive assets into the Scottish Widows ‘in-house' fund solutions. Working closely with the regional sales teams, Strategic Key Accounts team and Corporate Partners to drive and deliver the required growth across multi-asset, MPS and in house fund ranges. The primary purpose of the role is to seek, pitch and deliver new business opportunities onto the Platform, as well as demonstrating collaborator and relationship management at all levels, both internally and externally. Success will be measured against revenue targets, number of new partners introduced and net asset flow. You'll utilise data and insight from the market to provide valuable insight for partners to demonstrate added value and assist crafting their business strategy. In addition, you'll be able to feed insights from partners into the business to help advise broader proposition developments, including the innovation of future fund solutions. Key Accountabilities:
  • Build positive relationships in the individual intermediary market to position, pitch and influence the Scottish Widows ‘in house' fund solutions.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the market and industry developments, providing partners (internal & external) with regular and relevant market insights to add new value to their business.
  • Support the Governance Framework with large advisory firms who hold large assets across in house portfolios.
  • Work collaboratively with the Intermediary Development Managers and BDM's to drive proven growth, providing upskilling where relevant to help them become skilled in promoting the fund solutions.
  • Engage with key internal business functions to ensure a clear understanding of the needs of our partners, leading the activity to ensure any required change is progressed in a timely manner with the partner's expectations handled accordingly.
  • Seek out opportunities to harness the breadth of LBG to improve the partnership relationship - and also seek opportunities for other LBG business lines to forge business relationships with the partner.
