Full time, 3 days a week together in either one of our UK based Digital Hubs including Birmingham, London, Bristol and Manchester (flexible 2 days remote wherever).

This position sits within the Consumer arm of BT, which is the largest provider of consumer mobile and fixed communication services in the UK, with over 25 million subscribers, and more than 450 stores on the high street. Three brands sit under BT's Consumer division: the flagship Consumer brand is EE, together with BT and Plusnet. All working in harmony to provide broadband, home phone, mobile, gaming, TV and entertainment services.

The immediate assignment:

As a BT Consumer Content Editor, you'll collaborate across the BT organisation to execute editorial strategies as well as develop and design high-impact, on brand content that showcases BT's capabilities and market distinctiveness. You're a content and optimization expert, prioritizing customer needs. Collaborating with Developers, Content, and Product Designers, you craft exceptional digital content in small dynamic teams. Your role encompasses developing user journeys, managing content lifecycles, and leading impactful campaigns through personalization and A/B testing.

As the go-to CMS expert, you actively contribute to component development. Emphasizing content quality, your vital role involves producing well-researched, accessible, evidence-based, and SEO-informed content. Utilizing user research and data analytics, you collaboratively address content needs, ensuring a high standard in a focused, quality-driven approach.

You'll have the following accountabilities:

  • Delivering high quality and engaging content through a combination of data analysis, contact analysis, end-user research, and content audits, driving growth and improving user
  • engagement and experience
  • Crafting digital-first experiences that achieve commercial goals such as increased digital channel share and have clear commercial impact
  • Executing the content creation strategy and contributing throughout all stages of content production, including development and review
  • Continuously developing and sharing with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in branding content and drawing an audience's attention best practices and developments
  • Ensuring all content is aligned with the BT Group brand tone of voice, meets AA accessibility standards and is legally compliant

You'll have the following skills & experience:

  • Proven experience of producing and updating content in AEM
  • Ideally some experience of Headless CMS
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Experience in delivering content that adheres to SEO and web accessibility guidelines
  • Working with content publishing processes and content governance
  • Experience working with agile, multi-disciplined teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in using data and insights to inform decisions and improve content
