We have an exciting opportunity for an Accuracy and Loss Operations Manager at M&S to support in identifying issues, improving accuracy and reducing loss in our Clothing & Home business

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Be a subject matter expert in accuracy and loss and how processes and changes can impact performance.
- Develop strong relationships with all parts of C&H, particularly trading, logistics, supply chain and retail operations
- Work collaboratively across all areas of the business unit and wider GAP team to identify pain points in accuracy and loss through the use of data and getting closer to colleagues and customers.
- Alongside trading managers, agree short and long term solutions to reduce loss of product.
- Working with finance and own team, understand the short and medium term trends in accuracy and loss across our district centres and stores.
- Develop and launch retail trials that will enable improved accuracy and loss and communication of results to senior stakeholders.
- Author or sponsor business cases as required.
- Understand retail industry developments and opportunities to enhance M&S capabilities In accuracy and loss.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- Good relationships and reputation with you team is essential
- Effective communication skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand pain-points and solutions.
- Strong business partner management skills with the ability to build relationships and influence
- Exceptional problem-solving skills - coupled with the ability to interpret and distil complex information
- Can deliver to agreed timeframes and effectively prioritise workload with a flexible and proactive approach.
- Proven experience in leading the scoping, design, and delivery of trials and initiatives
- A strong understanding of the end to end stock management (desirable)
- An understanding of industry best practice on stockloss and accuracy (desirable)
