Job Responsibility:
New Business Commercial Executive - Ambitious Independent Broker
Join our New Business sales team and make a real impact. Reporting directly to the Director, you'll identify opportunities to grow the book of commercial and consumer clients through lead generation, cross sales, referrals, social media and your initiative. If you're ready to take the reins, drive success and progress, we want you on our team.
Key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Spot and seize opportunities: Identify cross-selling and up-selling chances for new and existing clients. Use team-provided leads and innovate new ways to boost quote volume and hit those financial targets.
- Insurance whisperer: Deliver outstanding service by truly understanding our client's business operations, opportunities and risks
- The Negotiator: Work your magic with Underwriters to secure the best rates for our clients.
- Market Explorer: Discover new markets, untapped schemes and opportunities to fuel our business growth.
- Compliance Champion: Stay organised, it's your day and ensure we always smash compliance benchmarks.
About You
As our New Business Exec, you'll bring the drive to exceed targets in a focused, collaborative and successful team. You can deliver outstanding customer service while advancing your insurance career with our support and commitment. Your skills:
- Insurance Pro: Background in Insurance (Commercial preferred, but Personal Lines considered)
- Relationship Builder: Experience of creating and developing strong working relationships
- Team Player: Collaborative, innovative and loves being part of a close-knit work family
- Communication Ace: Confidently advice a CEO, email directors or chat through your proposal with a sole trader?
- Detail-Oriented: enthusiastic, optimistic and meticulous
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft office, Acturis experience is a plus
- Goal Crusher: Proven record of hitting and exceeding target
- Qualified: Relevant qualifications (e.g. Cert CII) or working towards them
- Educated: Minimum GCSE grade 5/C Maths and English
