About The Role

We are seeking a high-quality, experienced and capable Control Room Officer - with start dates expected IMMEDIATELY for the right candidate. Full-time and part-time roles available with a range of hours. Applicants should display a positive attitude, be confident managing an event in a professional manner and exercising sound judgement. Experience in a similar role is desirable (not essential).

Essential Criteria

> A valid, in-date and verifiable SIA Security Guarding, Door Supervisor or Close Protection License

> Right to work documents

> A clear DBS certificate (we can apply for this on your behalf)

> Level 4 Spectator Safety Management qualification/ L3 Spectator Safety Supervisor

> Excellent timekeeping

> Conflict management skills

> Communication skills

> Listening skills with an ability to act on instruction from client management teams

> Teamwork skills

> Interpersonal skills

> Emotional intelligence

> Situational awareness

> An ability to write security related reports and statements

> Proficient in writing witness statements (although training can be provided)

> Smart and presentable appearance - we require staff to wear a formal uniform

Desirable Criteria

> Own transport (not applicable to candidates living locally)

> Previous experience within the security industry

> Commercial awareness

> Ability to interact and engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds

> Flexibility

> NEBOSH or IOSH qualification

> FREC 3 qualification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 60 per week
