Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a ‘Manager, Marketing Operations and Capability' (Adobe Campaign Product Owner) to join the Personalisation Strategy and Decisioning team within the Customer, Brand & Engagement (CB&E) function.

We are on an exciting journey to transform our capability to deliver personalised performance marketing. We are embarking on a strategy that will see us uplift the technology we use for marketing and transform how we use data to deliver personalised experiences for our customers.

You will be working in a Centre of Excellence that ensures the smooth operations of the personalisation strategy and decisioning team, playing a crucial role in improving our capability from a marketing technology and platform perspective.

You will be responsible for owning, managing and optimising one of our key marketing technology platforms; Adobe Campaign from a business perspective. Working closely with the others teams across the personalisation and performance team as well as our transformation and technology colleagues.

What you'll be doing

As we continue to enhance our marketing platform capability your role will be to ensure today's and tomorrow's marketing platforms operate as we need them to.

  • You'll ensure today's platforms are supported and issues resolved, and tomorrow's platforms are effectively implemented and we make the most of them.
  • You'll help drive the roadmap for maximising the benefit from our investment in the new technology ensuring effective prioritisation of features and improvements. Ensuring we have a product vision and strategy which aligns to our strategy and business objectives.
  • You will also lead the team that makes sure the wider team are trained up and getting the most from the technology that is being introduced.
  • You will also stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in decisioning technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting edge and competitive.
  • At an operational level you will run the operational processes needed which support our Design and Delivery team so they can focus on building interactions, and you'll work with the central technology function to get any emerging application issues fixed.

About you

We're looking for an experience marketing communications professional who has:

  • Excellent understanding and experience of using marketing technology, specifically must have experience of working with Adobe Campaign V8.
  • Experience of having held a similar product owner role in customer decisioning, marketing automation or CRM Systems.
  • Excellent project management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage and multiple competing priorities and deliverables. Working effectively across a matrix team is essential.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented approach with the ability to support complex change projects and realise opportunities to drive further improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on innovative and practical solutions.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Data Protection Legislation e.g. UK GDPR and PECR and how it applies for marketing communications, particularly 1-2-1 communications.
  • People management experience is desirable but not essential
  • Financial sector experience is desirable but not essential
