Your contributions will be instrumental in enabling growth of the EE brand.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain applications using front end technologies
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define project requirements and translate them into functional applications
  • Optimise application performance and ensure responsiveness for customers
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, and propose solutions to improve application performance and customer experience
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to deliver high-quality and innovative applications
  • Along with the Lead Engineer, help to coach more junior members of the team, ensuring high quality standards of code, ways of working and delivery

Skills

  • React JS / TypeScript / JavaScript (5 years +)
  • Performance optimisation
  • Analytics and observability, e.g, dynatrace
  • Unit testing
  • Experience of supporting and troubleshooting live customer applications
  • Knowledge of front-end architecture and patterns
  • GraphQL API understanding
  • Integration testing
  • Supporting CI/CD pipelines
  • Have led or have a desire to mentor more junior software engineers whilst being in a senior
  • Nextjs
