Role Information
Employability provision supports people who are wanting to get back into employment, with the variety of different courses we deliver. Our aim is to grow this division by driving learner starts across the different community venues, transforming lives through learning. As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for driving learner starts and enrolling them on to their chosen programme. This is a busy role where you need to balance the need for commercial and administrative activity on a daily basis. Visiting different events, job centres, community venues is essential to this role. Having that face to face communication is a good way to generate starts.
Includes Job Duties hereMain Purpose of the Post:- To engage with prospect learners who are exciting about a career in the IT or digital sector
- Provide robust information, advice and guidance to ensure the learners are enrolling on to the right course
DUTIES- Developing and maintaining good strong relationships with referral partners
- Identifying and promoting courses to learner and learner referral sources
- Engaging with potential learners and providing them with accurate information, advice, and guidance along with keeping records of all the above activities
- Carrying out initial assessment activities, identify individual learner support requirements and communicate to the relevant colleagues
- Maintaining the learner tracking details for each of the courses and effectively communicating with the relevant tutors and assessors to collate all this information
- To identify employers who have employment, apprenticeship, or placement opportunities and looking to upskill their team
- To identify and engage in communication with local employment partnership groups to promote our services and identify employment opportunities
- Collaborating with BDMs to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities
- Maximising social media to attract learners
- Attending promotions days at client's premises when required and promoting the companies' services to potential customers/learners
- Attending careers events to promote Learning Curve Group
- Accurately and timely completion of all recruitment documentation
- Effectively communicating with other staff members about day-to-day activities
- Conduct your role in line with the company value and expected behaviours

Essentia Criteria
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA - Experience of sales or marketing
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good experience of administration is necessary
- IT skills are essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths and English qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Good track record of customer service
- Ability to work on your own and are self-motivated
- Able to travel across the country
