Base Location: Portsmouth
Salary:£26,609 - £30,472 and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available - hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
We have an opportunity for an experienced customer service advisor to join our Cable Damage Rechargeable Debt department.
This team plays a key role in recovering debt from third party damages to our network, specifically to each of our 4 regions covering central southern England.
This is a busy role therefore it is important that you have the ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines in a busy, but also exciting environment.
The role will be varied from answering customer disputes to following the administrative tasks to recoup debt. You will find solutions to customer and operational problems whilst adhering to industry processes and regulations.
It can be complex, and we are looking for someone who is resilient with the ability to stay calm even when working under pressure. Someone who can adapt to a fast moving and ever evolving team with enthusiasm and a positive approach.
Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting customers with dispute resolution and settle negotiations up to the value of £50,000.
- Calculating invoice costs alongside other administrative duties following strict regulatory processes.
- Collating evidence to substantiate litigation claims alongside reviewing and preparing Legal Documents for claims to be litigated.
- Supporting the executive complaints team with resolving high level complaints and support with new projects and initiate new ideas to improve income and settlements.
- Stakeholder engagement with councils around unmetered works.
What do I need?
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills across all levels of our business and a passion for providing help and support to their colleagues
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and also proficient Microsoft Office 365 skills
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of Networks would be beneficial but training provided
During times of bad weather, you will be required to give support through your storm role, this may mean working outside of your normal hours and potentially location.
