Job Overview:

We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to join our team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and possess strong leadership skills to oversee the housekeeping staff.

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, ensuring all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards

- Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures and standards

- Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed

- Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally

- Schedule staff shifts and allocate tasks efficiently

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housekeeping operations
