About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fire Contracts Supervisor. Reporting to the Head of Fire & Compliance within the Property & Development team, you'll manage all fire risk assessments and actions required through our annual fire risk assessment programme. You'll have a direct oversight of an established supply chain, focussing on the delivery of fire safety actions and remedial works which will include recording all data within a third party system.

You will maintain and build relationships with local Fire and Rescue Services/authorities in regard to fire safety across our stock, as well as work alongside the housing and marketing/public relations teams. You'll lead and advise on customer related fire safety messages to ensure our residents are educated on fire safety matters.

About you

As our Fire Contracts Supervisor, you'll have experience of leading the management of a contract and completion of a building or repair project within a budget. You'll be able to communicate effectively at all levels, both written and verbal with colleagues, residents and stakeholders.

You'll hold a professional qualification - IOSH, NEBOSH, HNC/HND or equivalent, and understand current safety related regulations and legislation.

You'll need to have a good level of administrative skills, be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and be able to work well under pressure.

A full UK driving licence and the use of a roadworthy car insured for business use is also required.

The successful applicant will require a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered satisfactory to Housing Solutions.
