The Opportunity

Come and join our expanding Sizewell C (SZC) team and work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK's climate change agenda and energy policy. Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project is now seeking private investment with a view to start construction in 2024. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) Consultant to join the Sizewell C team. As the project keeps growing we need more HR Business Parners to join our fantastica team. You'll work in partnership with designated leaders providing professional advice, consultation and direction, commercial HR solutions and operational support and enabling the leaders to implement the business' agreed people plans to improve function performance.

You will provide professional advice, direction and consultation to empower leadership in handling people matters and implement the business' agreed people plans. Deliver clear change management guidance and understand the importance of culture. Our teams are set up to work flexibly and we provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively, so long as you're able to travel to the office to collaborate with your team and stakeholders when required.

The Role

You'll be supporting Sizewell C's Delivery or Enabling and Assurance teams there will be regular travel to office's located across London and Suffolk. Given the growth within SZC, the main areas of focus will be on supporting the creation and population of the growing organisation, inducting, and upskilling leaders as well as and supporting ongoing performance and talent management of the workforce. The HRBP Consultant role is high profile, high impact and sits within the heart of the growing Sizewell C team. You'll be critical to the success of the project, this role provides a great opportunity to be creative, develop and deliver processes, best practice and support the employment model required for the future success of SZC.

The Skills

You'll likely to have experience of working with diverse senior management teams, likely at HRBP level or a senior experienced HR Advisor looking for their next step. Experience and / or understanding of strategic planning, coaching and consultation, setting business priorities, driving values and delivering business results. Ability to support the teams to become future ready, understand skills requirements, strategic workforce planning to include cost and agility for the future and succession planning. You should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to work as an effective leader and self-starter, become an effective member of a wider HR function, building strong and productive relationships within the HR function team and across the organisation.
