In the role of Work Placement Officer you'll predominantly be based at The Waterfront Quarter, but may work across all our Huddersfield and Dewsbury Centres and your focus will be on proactively generating sufficient high-quality placements and other employer lead work experience activities to enhance the overall student experience. A driving license and access to a car is essential for this role.

Your key responsibilities will be to proactively generating new business leads, and secure and maintain a wide range of placement and work experience opportunities to meet the needs of students' study programmes, liaising with the Personal Development Tutors for the matching process, linking students to relevant placement opportunities generated.

Ideally, you'll have a track record of generating new business leads through targeted telesales and networking activity (or be able to prove equivalent ability) and demonstrable experience in, developing and maintaining quality employer and partnership relationships. It's important that you're able to communicate effectively across all areas of the college, build effective working relationships and provide first class customer service and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
