2 x Building Safety Caretaker Committed to Better Housing Permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Colchester Borough Homes (CBH) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Colchester City Council. About the role Working as part of a housing team who are dedicated to delivering a professional front-line service, you will be responsible for making sure that estates are safe and clean, working with residents and partners to improve the environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide professional estate services ensuring high standards of cleanliness, security, safety, maintenance, and repair.
  • Carry out planned health, safety, and fire inspections.
  • Minor repairs to estates and homes to a high standard, and help keep our communities clean and safe.
  • Monitoring and reporting on our communal areas and service contracts
  • To deliver excellent customer service
