This is a 1-year fixed term contract.
This is a hybrid role working from home and our office in London & Leicester.

About the area
The Agile Delivery Lead is key to evolving our ways of working and should be an experienced practitioner in agile techniques. We want to drive continuous improvement across our teams, our community, and our business. There will be opportunities to do this at all levels as we continue to evolve our business. So, to help us to evolve you will need to form new and develop existing ideas from within the business as well as your own network from outside of the business.
This role is in the Platform and Operations centre of enablement working with the Platform team. The Platform team runs one of the busiest e-commerce sites in the UK and most of our platform runs on AWS but also use GCP and Azure. Because of this, a certain level of technical competence would be beneficial in this role. The Platform team work very closely with our Outcome teams, and our main goals are ensuring best practice across Tech, doing everything in code, automating as much as possible and building self-service capabilities wherever we can.

What you'll be doing
- Drive continuous improvement through the team using agile/lean methods, flow metrics and via coaching/mentoring and supporting where needed.
- Help the team build and deliver their roadmap items through continuous improvement, breaking work down into small, frequent releases.
- Collaborate with wider engineering teams on joint initiatives and work that spans across all teams and focus areas.
- Engage with different chapters across Dunelm; Delivery, Engineering, Quality, Product, Business Analysis .
- Contribute to the Delivery Chapter to help educate and influence change.
- Help manage the team's workflow via e.g. ServiceNow/Jira/Gitlab.
- Be a point of escalation for the team and manage external stakeholders.
What we'll look for in you
- Technical knowledge or an understanding of Cloud technologies within a large organisation.
- Leading conversations with people at all technical levels.
- Worked within a DevOps environment.
- Delivered at team level.
- Experienced in Agile / bi-modal methods of Delivery.
- Experience of using Scrum or Kanban.
- Active coaching of people and teams

You will utilise your experience as a seasoned Delivery person to implement methods best suited to the complex business opportunities at all levels. You will have an approach of small incremental improvements over big bang.
We follow a DevOps culture, promote best practice across Tech and want to stay ahead of the competition so we value someone that is able to keep everyone honest and talking the same language. A certain level of technical knowledge regarding Engineering, Cloud and DevOps will be beneficial in this role.
From time to time, we work with 3rd parties. You will need to build up a lasting mutual relationship. You will be able to challenge and develop ways of working to ensure that Dunelm and the 3rd parties are operating in a harmonious partnership
