Role Overview:
Responsible for the management of contracts and projects, you will be the 1st point of contact for the client and subcontractors, ensuring your projects are delivered within the necessary health and safety, time, budget, and quality parameters. You will be driven, able to work independently and be able to deliver results unsupervised whilst setting standards required for all operational colleagues.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of health and safety standards on your contracts and projects.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager, the Senior Project Coordinator and their teams.
- Regularly visit contracts to ensure all subcontractor and projects are operating within the parameters set out by the Client.
- Attend weekly contract/project meetings, ensuring they are effective and at the required intervals.
- Work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and SHEQ Manager to ensure H&S compliance.
- Monitor and progress outstanding complaints in conjunction with the operational delivery team.
- Monitor progress of site/contracts works ensuring key dates are met.
- Ensure the project teams manage materials efficiently, in conjunction with the procurement team.
- Comply with the requirements set out in the relevant Sureserve policies
- Day-to-day performance management of your team; including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, management of mandatory qualifications (with support from your SHEQ colleagues), toolbox talks, ER, 1:1, training, and development of your team.
- Be innovative through all aspects of your role to benefit the business.
- Carry out post install and quality inspections.
- Travel to sites across various geographical areas and potential overnight stays may be required (accommodation/subsistence provided).
- Trend analysis reporting to help coach and implement change for field-based workforce.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of collective operational delivery team.
Skills and experience:
- Exceptional communication and commercial awareness skills at all levels.
- Experience in Retrofit & dealing with associated UK Government funding streams (HUG/SHDF).
- Strong motivation skills with the ability to motivate your teams to deliver.
- Ability to identify potential pitfalls and implement recovery plans.
- Ability to use technology to programme works, provide reports and accurate record keeping.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Asta programme packages (desirable)
- Self-driven and results orientated.
- Clear focus on customer service and health and safety management.
- Ability to make rational decisions under pressure.
- Can do attitude with drive and enthusiasm.
- A desire to help address fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions.
- Passion for achieving customer satisfaction.
- Drive towards helping achieve Net Zero.
- UK driving licence.

Qualifications:
- SSSTS/SMSTS (essential)
- IOSH (desirable)
- Trade qualified (desirable)
- System design/Manufacturer qualification (desirable)
