The HR Booth are delighted to be recruiting a Maintenance Technician/Welder, on behalf of Diffusion Alloys

Who are Diffusion Alloys?

Diffusion Alloys is a global specialist in the application of a wide range of protective and hard-wearing coatings.

What will you be doing?

Our site is expanding, due to an increase in demand from clean technologies, and we have an opening for a Maintenance Technician with welding experience, to join our Maintenance/Engineering Team.

The individual will be hands on, and involved in the maintenance of equipment and site facilities, and fabrication of tooling.

The individual will need to be able to work independently, and be willing to work longer hours as business needs require (with appropriate overtime). The role requires an individual who is comfortable carrying out a broad range of mechanical maintenance tasks, when necessary.

Experience, Responsibilities and Duties

To carry out mechanical maintenance tasks on equipment and site facilities

Experienced in MIG & TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel (2-20mm plate)

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Able to work independently

Robust knowledge of H&S requirement pertaining to hot working, grinding, and welding activities

Physically capable of working extended hours through high activity periods

Qualifications

List all Qualifications and Grades for the following:

GSCEs, A-Levels, Diplomas attained on your CV

Please provide a list of Welding Qualifications

What do we expect from you?

Excellent technical problem-solving skills, the ability to work with minimal direct technical supervision

Full UK Driving Licence
