Duties and responsibilities related to the Bakery Chef de Partie role

• Ensure that all bakery products are prepared to the highest standards and in accordance with the bakery's recipes and guidelines.

• Monitor the quality of baked goods at all stages of preparation and presentation.

• Manage inventory for the bakery section, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels.

• Ensure that bakery equipment and tools in the section are maintained in good working order.

• Train and supervise junior bakery colleagues, ensuring adherence to recipes, techniques, and safety protocols.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Flexibility is desired, as some shifts may begin as early as 4 am. This position requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and guest interaction skills.

About you

Proven experience in bakery operations, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to oversee and inspire a specific section of the bakery. Possess extensive knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
