Who we are:
Food Surveys is a food quality and safety inspection company, working as an independent service provider to large food groups all over the UK. Our fieldwork is carried out by a team of inspectors all over the UK and Ireland, who conduct inspections within their region, generating data and reports. These are used by our clients to manage their suppliers, supply chain and the overall compliance of their food operation.
The Role:
We are looking for a Food Quality Administrator to support our client with administrative tasks and basic food preparation in collaboration with their food technologists for an on-going quality control project at their London Head Office.

You will be required to carry out the following activities:
- Arrange for food products to be ordered or collected, prepared, and cooked for sampling by Quality Control working groups.
- Co-ordinate the team that should attend these sessions and ensure they have the relevant technical documents available.
- Record information and share data gathered using web based applications
Skills we are looking for:
- The successful candidate will have experience in administration, ideally within the food industry and be a clear and confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Experience in a practical role within the Food or Catering industry to include food preparation skills and be familiar with current Food Hygiene legislation
- High standard of IT familiarity, comfortable using spreadsheets and web based platforms.
- Able to prioritise and effectively complete jobs in order of importance
We are interested in individuals with qualifications in:
- Food Safety
- Health & Safety
- Inspection / Auditing Training
- Or other similar qualifications
The role would suit those with the following experience:
- Food Quality or Food Safety
- Food Inspectors / Auditors
- Chefs / Catering/Food Production
- Technical and Quality teams in the food industry
- Administration roles within the food industry
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
