Job Responsibility:
Various Hours Available - Days of work Monday-Friday. Full time, Part time and Job share would be considered. We have various exciting opportunities available and we are seeking proactive and enthusiastic individuals to join the clerical team in the Health Records Department at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. You will be responsible for providing a full clerical support service within the Health Records Department. The main focus of the role will be undertaking all process within Reception and clinic preparation team as well as the busy emergency admissions Training in other areas of the department will be provided to support the whole Health Records service Computer literacy and experience in the accurate inputting of data is an essential requirement for this post as are organisational skills . Methodical method of working and a keen eye for detail is crucial to this role. Being flexible and adaptable to change is crucial to this particular role. Training on in-house information systems however, will be provided. To assist with the operation of Health Records Services across all areas of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. Various roles available. Reception/Clinic Prep -Providing excellent reception service on various busy receptions within the Trust. Preparing notes accurately and in a timely manner in preparation for upcoming appointments. Emergency Admissions- Providing excellent patient care, dealing with high volume of telephone calls and preparing notes accurately for the very busy emergency admissions team. Main Duties and Responsibilities The post holder will be part of a team of staff who organise and provide all records functions within the Health Records Department. Provide a Health Records Archiving service for the Trust. Re file the notes, whilst maintaining the libraries. Undertaking other general administration required to support the department. Reception Cover across the Trust Preparation of notes for clinic and emergency admissions. Handle high volume of telephone enquiries Undertake requests from outside agencies as well as within the Trust The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trust's policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £21.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
