What you'll be doing

As an Early Careers Recruiter, you will have the following accountabilities:

Partner with respective business area to deliver End to end recruitment solutions and vacancy management through to offer and day one including all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle. Dynamic and agile approach to ensure business demand is fulfilled and in line with deadlines.

Support HR Business Partner/s to obtain business demand from Hiring population by providing recruitment & market insight with regards to skills, locality, hard to fill roles and other appropriate roles related specifics to ensure realistic and credible requirements.

Partner with central Candidate Engagement team to develop targeted attraction methodologies which deliver strong talent pipelines in line with EC media/engagement schedule - utilise new technology/social channels, help create innovative campaigns, develop specific localised engagement, and explore brand enhancement initiatives.

Drive and enable an effective and engaging recruitment journey for candidates through the provision of appropriate communication and engagement mechanisms - deploying a customer centric approach, ensuring candidates are Engaged, Equipped and Enabled for day one. Includes working in partnership with dependant teams to ensure seamless handoffs, operate within KPIs.

Continuous improvement of standardised processes, tools, and controls to manage resourcing activities to ensure best practice for Managers and candidates alike. Work with Resourcing Operations where appropriate, to keep abreast of system enhancements and release process efficiency benefits.

Support the business by driving inclusive hiring.

Govern the use and functionality of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and supporting systems to ensure data integrity. Ensure the system is effectively maintained and provides optimal support to the resourcing process.

Work hand in hand with Early Careers Development and HR Shared Services (HRSS) to ensure the seamless execution of hires - support colleges by filling roles in line with college enrolment deadlines, align ways of working where possible, establish strong ways of working, contract with teams to ensure SLAs are met etc…

Where required, support the Early Careers Change/Project Manager (when appointed 2024) by providing expert, recruitment insight, advocating change, evolving process etc. to enable project and change delivery and expected outcomes.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a fast paced and complex resourcing landscape with high volume and dynamic requirements - with a strong understanding and practical knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience of operating within the Early Careers space - recruiting across Graduate, Apprentices and placements. Bringing new ideas, particularly around the engagement of diverse talent.
  • Experience of owning, maintaining, and developing stakeholder/Hiring/Line Manager relationships, including appropriate influencing skills - Assimilate and understand business processes and internal interactions.
  • Understanding of recruitment metrics, forecasting and commercial factors.
  • A good understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment & selection
