Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all colleagues are trained to carry out their role correctly and in a safe manner
- To support departments ensuring all operational training is delivered to RTITB training standards
- Ensure all colleagues in the operational area are up to date with the latest safe system of work
- Lead by example ensuring a safety first culture throughout the site
- Work cohesively with the team members, accurately picking or processing stock items using the required assets
- Operating a Forklift Truck to replenish or put away stock in designated locations
- Proactively raising awareness of the importance of Health and Safety
- Responsibilities for fallowing all site policies and procedures
- Attendance and time management with the flexibility to start at times as need it
- Flexibility to undertake non forklift duties
Skills and Experience
- RTITB Certified
- Experience in driving Forklift Trucks
- Approachable
- Flexible
- Work well within a Team or on own initiative
- Be able to multitask - as you work for the different areas of replenishment
- Be able to work to prioritises
- Impartial
- Open and honest
- A strong communicator at all levels
- Have a good understanding and awareness of the organisation's procedures
