The Role

Working as part of the Commercial Product Procurement Team in Almac Clinical Services you will be responsible for leading a team of specialist and administrators. The objective of the role is to provide effective Team Leadership, Customer Service & Supplier management in the efficient delivery of cost competitive source & supply solutions to meet customer study requirements.

The post holder will be responsible for leading daily operational & personnel activities while coordinating and developing department activities in accordance with business requirements.

The post holder will deliver effective Customer relationship management through ongoing coaching and development of the procurement team.

The post holder will deliver effective Supplier Relationship management through the ongoing development of an efficient, proactive and cost-effective supply network.

Key Requirements

• Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK

• Degree OR Significant procurement experience of goods & services in the Pharmaceutical Industry

• Previous personnel Leadership / Management experience.

• Previous practical procurement experience encompassing responsibility for large- and small-scale procurement project

• Proven successful track record within negotiation & competitive pricing analysis

• Proven track record within Supplier Relationship Management
