We are looking for a SeniorPeople Advisor to join our People team.

Title: Senior People Advisor

Salary: £38,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, full time

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location:Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London

Job Summary:

This role would suit an established HR Advisor with strong operational experience who can manage their own workload and can establish good working relationships with our leaders across our divisions.

You will partner with leaders and be a point of contact for all of our colleagues across our divisions offering support and advice on all things people & employee relations.

This is a position where you can really make a difference and develop your skills and experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain successful relationships with managers and employees across the organisation.
  • Provide high quality HR advice and guidance directly to managers and employees to resolve difficult or sensitive employee relations issues.
  • Advise and coach managers on the application and interpretation of people policies and procedures.
  • Support the management of employee relations cases relating to probation, performance improvement, disciplinary, grievance, absence etc.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and managers within the wider people team, (Recruitment, People Development, People Operations) providing information, support and guidance.
  • Deliver People/ER related bitesize training sessions at divisional team meetings.
  • Support with translating our people data for our leaders at divisional meetings.

Essential Attributes:

  • A pragmatic approach.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working in a People/HR Team in either an Advisor, Senior Advisor, Generalist or equivalent role.
  • Strong experience of advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary & grievance investigations, performance improvement processes, flexible working requests and other ER matters.
  • Experience in analysing employee data and producing and developing people MI reports, identifying trends and making recommendations.
  • Presenting bitesize sessions to smaller team meetings as part of ongoing coaching requests.
  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice.
