The Role

We are looking for a dedicated and confident Night Porter to join our Front of House Team. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional hospitality, as well as ensuring a safe, secure, and clean environment for our guests. You will be self motivated, have a keen eye for detail, and a positive 'can do' attitude. Proactive and quick thinking, you can answer queries, find solutions, and take control in emergency situations. Your responsibilities will vary daily, ensuring that no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Guest Check-Ins and Check-Outs: Provide a swift and effective check-in process for late arrivals and early check-outs, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Telephone Handling: Ensure all telephone calls are answered quickly and efficiently.
• Room Service: Deliver room service trays and support the food and beverage team.
• Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy of guest billing, financial transactions, and the reception float.
• Maintain Standards: Keep reception and public spaces tidy and presentable, maintaining brand standards.
• Overnight Security: Patrol the hotel to ensure the site is secure.
• Health and Safety: Understand health and safety protocols and remain calm in challenging circumstances.
• Guest Requests: Address in-house guest requests, record feedback, and ensure seamless shift handovers.
• Maintenance Reporting: Report maintenance issues, check work completion, and provide feedback to guests.
• Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when resolving challenges.
