What if that person was you? We are looking for a Delivery Assurance Coordinator to work in the Portfolio Management Office as part of the Portfolio, Programme & Project (P3M) Assurance team. The Delivery Assurance Coordinator will report and be accountable to the P3M Delivery Assurance Manager. You will be accountable for ensuring that the right level of assurance is undertaken at the right time in a project's lifecycle. This role is part of growing team and will give you a great opportunity to gain an overarching view on the many ongoing projects within AWE. As a Delivery Assurance Coordinator, your role would entail:
  • Supporting the planning & scheduling of P3M assurance activities across AWE whilst ensuring alignment of key assurance activities across interdependent projects.
  • Supporting the implementation of major corrective actions from P3M assurance reviews.
  • Supporting appropriate and proportional application of the P3M assurance processes in the P3M framework (i.e. the process documentation used to deliver projects, programmes & portfolios).
  • Supporting integration, and continuous improvement of the P3M assurance processes in the P3M framework.
Location: This role is based at Aldermaston, RG7 4PR. We are located in the Berkshire countryside between Reading and Basingstoke. This role is suitable for hybrid working. Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:
  • Positive team player, but also comfortable working independently.
  • Effective communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable with compiling reports and presenting to peers and senior leaders
  • Resolution focused with the ability to be flexible and creative in approach.
  • Excellent organisational and record keeping skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Some understanding of different project management and controls methodologies, including the suitability on different projects, programmes, and portfolio.
  • Experience in using departmental data and trends to gain insight and then using that insight to build action.
This job role is suitable for hybrid working, which is an informal, non-contractual and voluntary arrangement, blending a balance of attendance in the workplace (your permanent duty station) and working from home as a personal choice.
