Job Description Bank Administration Assistant - Springfield Hospital - Bank Hours The role We are looking for an experienced Administrator/Receptionist to join our Administration team. This post is for a Bank Administration Assistant where you will be called in to work as and when the business needs, there could be very busy or quieter times. You will work with delivering exceptional standards of administration support across the variety of departments within the Hospital. This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients, Consultants and all hospital departments. We need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative, the ability to work within a team and adaptable. You must be computer literate - experience with Word and Outlook being essential. Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage. Here we provide a wide range of services including Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgery and Paediatrics. We are continually introducing new technology to ensure we provide the best experience for our patients and support for our hard working teams. Springfield Hospital opened in 1987 and is one of Essex's leading private hospitals. It is a 64-bedded hospital all with en suite facilities, with parent and child rooms, a 14-bed Day unit and a high dependency unit. What you will bring with you
- Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent
- Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day to day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills
- Positive, willing attitude
- Self-motivated and possess strong organisational, interpersonal and above all customer service skills.
