Job Description Bank Bookings Administrator| Springfield Hospital | Bank Hours The role: We are looking for an experienced Bookings Administrator to join our Bookings Team at Springfield Hospital. As a Bookings Administrator, you will assist the NHS and Bookings team to ensure authorisation is received where required for all procedures under the NHS. You will provide high levels of customer service when handling enquiries and providing quotes to potential Ramsay patients. Keeping detailed and accurate records to ensure all bookings are managed effectively and within an appropriate time scale. Duties will include but are not limited to:
  • Handle all enquiries and book appointments, whether by telephone, email and postal promptly and efficiently
  • Provide detailed information to patient enquiries delivering excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal departments
  • Maintain clinics and associated admin
  • Ensure worklists on ER-S are addressed and referrals managed in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and medical secretaries to ensure appointments are converted
  • Maintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress on their enquiry
  • Liaise with GP Practices regarding referrals
