Ornua is actively seeking a Manufacturing Services Team Leader to join our Warehousing team as we continue our growth trajectory. As our next Manufacturing Services Team Leader you will play a key role in; Assisting and overseeing circa 25 colleagues across Manufacturing Services warehouse and direct reports on the shift, leading the shift safely, efficiently and effectively with a logical and approachable behaviour. Why This Role Is Valuable: The Manufacturing Services Team Leader is responsible for; Managing shift Team colleagues including performance, recruitment, training and development, performance reviews, absence management, time and attendance, discipline and grievance. Management of the MHE fleet to include operational compliance, repairs & maintenance, MHE training requirements. Ensure all aspects of departmental Health & safety including incident investigation reporting, Racking Safety checks, Good Catches, Safety Walks along with completion of follow up actions, Risk assessments, SOP's, visual standards, Preventative Maintenance schedules. Engage and work with colleagues on MS improvement activities to constantly seek opportunities Ensure and communicate the daily/weekly staff shift plan, including allocation of Agency Staff. Ensure a structured shift handover takes place each day with the other MS Shift teams. Action and own any non-conformances within the department, ensuring these dealt with promptly with actions put in place to prevent re-occurrence. Ensure any issues involving, Stock problems or Product Quality are dealt with promptly. Ensure contractor compliance including RAMS via the Gatehouse system, site inductions. Management of and bookings for Waste Disposal collections. Management of pallets stock, incoming and outgoing. Ensure that perpetual inventory verifications are completed daily and support the end of year site stock take process. Lead regular team meetings and communicate the huddle/team talks. What You Bring To The Role: Strong team player and leader of people with the ability to motivate coach others Good communicator with the ability to relay information at a level relevant to the audience Hold at least one current FLT license from a registered provider Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems Experience in Managing/Supervising Warehouse based teams for over 2 years is an advantage Control and measurement of Operational costs within budgeted levels Manage all elements of Safety relating to FLT and Storage Operations Ornua has ambitious growth plans and we're building a team to help enable and accelerate that growth.
