Job Responsibility:
Our Information Technology department provides an end-to-end service to a wide range of these group businesses, encompassing IT development, delivery and support.
We are a key element in the successful growth and expansion of the YTL UK group with a focus on configuring, developing and supporting high-quality IT Applications.
What you'll do
This varied and busy role is based in the Dynamics Competency Centre team and will involve directly reporting to the Dynamics Competency Centre Manager.
Our Dynamics Competency Centre (DCC) supports the growing use of Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform capabilities across the YTL UK group companies.
The DCC is a large end-to-end delivery team providing development and support to our business services across the D365 product line.
The Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O) Administrator forms an important part of the team, supporting users from across the business and providing project support as required.
As a Dynamics F&O Administrator, you will be:
- providing high-quality application support on all production Dynamics F&O instances across both the regulated and unregulated businesses within the YTL UK group
- managing tickets associated with the Dynamics based business services according to ITIL principles
- maintaining and configuring all elements of Dynamics F&O to best practice standards and managing the related wave upgrade process
- understanding and supporting integrations into Dynamics across a broad range of applications for different parts of the business
- contributing to the expansion of our Dynamics offerings by providing advice to business partners and project teams on the native capabilities of Dynamics
- administering our Dynamics F&O estate via the Lifecycle Services administration hub
- supporting project delivery by providing technical analysis, solution input and instance administration.
You will also be required to assist in the provision of a 24/7 support function to our critical business systems and applications, so the company can maintain its service levels to customers and regulators.
There is a 10% salary uplift for being part of our out-of-hours rota.
What you'll need
Ideally, you will have the following skill set and qualifications:
- an in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics F&O product
- foundational knowledge of the full Microsoft Dynamics Suite of business applications
- experience in application support while working in an enterprise environment, ideally within an ITIL framework
- a customer-focused approach to work alongside excellent communication skills and business awareness
- great problem-solving skills and the ability to work using your own initiative
- the ability to manipulate and extract data to enable analysis for incident and problem resolution
- the ability to understand customer requests and the business processes supported by ERP systems
- the ability to use Biztalk ESB business administration and a general familiarity with the data integration tools surrounding Microsoft Dynamics (Scribe, CDS, etc)
- experience using Microsoft developer tools for Dynamics and Microsoft Teams Foundation Server, Azure Dev Ops, Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Microsoft Visual Studio.
